POSITION BATTLE UPDATE — CORNERBACK: Whereas Kelee Ringo took the starting reps on Wednesday, Adoree’ Jackson was first up as the Eagles’ first-team right cornerback on Thursday. Ringo replaced Jackson with the starters in the second 11-on-11 series while the latter played left cornerback with the second-team defense.

Pre-camp analysis: The Eagles drafted Ringo when he was only 20 years, and the plan was always for him to develop behind the scenes for a year or two before he took on an important role in the defense. The time for him to make the most of an opportunity to start is now.
