Three massive wildfires continue to rage north of Duluth in northeastern Minnesota. Crews are also battling colossal wildfires just north of Minnesota in Canada's Manitoba and Ontario provinces.

Wildfires are common in the state. But scientists say this week’s damaging blazes in a northeastern region are a sign of more severe effects from a warning planet.
