After a season filled with a slew of talent, the Season 23 winner of “American Idol” is Jamal Roberts. The newly-crowned American Idol ended the show by singing “Her Heart” by Anthony Hamilton. Before a winner was announced, the “American Idol” finale included performances by the three judges who sang “Stuck on You.”

Jessica Simpson took the "American Idol" stage Sunday night for her first television performance in 15 years.

Jamal Roberts, a 27-year-old PE teacher from Meridian, Mississippi, won the popular vote to become the "American Idol" Season 23 champion during the May 18 finale.
