Jerry Jones chose to move on from Mike McCarthy and promoted offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer to head coach. Schottenheimer, who has spent the last two seasons as Dallas’ OC, is entering his first season as an NFL head coach.

The Cowboys selected Alabama offensive lineman Tyler Booker with the 12th overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft. Booker was the fourth offensive lineman selected in this year’s first round, going after names like Will Campbell, Armand Membou and Kelvin Banks Jr.
