Luka Doncic's start with the Los Angeles Lakers has been less than inspiring. Through three games, two before the All-Star break and one after, he's averaging just 14.7 PPG, 6.7 RPG, and 5.3 APG while shooting 35.

With much of the NBA already noticing the Mavericks' messaging, Kyrie Irving called for it to stop in a sitdown interview with ESPN during All-Star weekend. Irving cited the relationships beyond basketball built over the nearly two years he was a teammate with Doncic in Dallas.

The Dallas Mavericks shook up the NBA by shipping Luka Doncic to Los Angeles, and now at the All-Star break, Dallas has work to do in the Western Conference.
