Democratic Rep. John Larson of Connecticut shouted about Elon Musk and the Department of Government Efficiency during a House committee markup.

Elon Musk said in a FOX Business interview that DOGE's cost-cutting efforts will reach $1 trillion in savings "unless we're stopped" and the group has made "good progress."

The New York Times reports that Postmaster General Louis DeJoy, appointed by Donald Trump in his first term and an advocate for privatizing the U.S. Postal Service, has made a deal with DOGE to assist in “identifying and achieving further efficiencies.”
