Former Seattle Seahawks offensive tackle George Fant could be close to finding his next NFL home. On Tuesday morning, league insider Jordan Schultz reported Fant will be working out with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Bucs are having injury issues with starter Tristan Wirfs and are looking to have some legitimate depth at the position to help out.
The Seattle Seahawks released tight end Noah Fant, the team announced Sunday. The Seahawks saved $8.91 million against the salary cap by releasing Fant after he was due a non-guaranteed salary of $8.49 million in 2025, per Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times.
