In their college football Mascot Power Rankings, ESPN snubbed the Hawkeyes' unmistakable mascot from their rankings of the best mascots across the country. They broke down mascots into five categories, consisting of the costume division, the mechanized division, the human division, the live animal division, and a bonus non-football division.
