MIAMI GARDENS — The Miami Dolphins had a physical joint practice with the Chicago Bears and a preseason opener that ended in a tie at 24. The Dolphins have two joint practices with the Detroit Lions and a second preseason game on Saturday, Aug. 16, at 1 p.m.

Despite a Derrick McLendon sack that backed up the Bears offense and pressure on fourth down from Grayson Murphy, Chicago's Tyson Bagent managed to lob a pass to the back of the end zone that was hauled in by Maurice Alexander for a 4-yard touchdown.

The Chicago Bears took on the Miami Dolphins in their preseason opener Sunday at Soldier Field, which resulted in a 24-24 tie (with no overtime in the preseason). This came after an intense joint practice on Friday, where the starters went head-to-head.
