Robinson is an important piece for the Knicks, as he brings rim protection and defensive prowess to the team when healthy. He played stellar on-ball defense against Celtics wing Jayson Tatum in Game 2, forcing him baseline as he was chased off the top of the key, and eventually blocked by Mikal Bridges to seal a win.

New York Knicks center Mitchell Robinson took to social media to fire back at critics following his struggles in Saturday's 115-93 Game 3 loss to the Boston Celtics. Robinson declared in his video that he won't let any criticisms affect him, saying, "I really don't care for" the outside noise:

Against the Celtics, Robinson’s presence was feared. After all, Boston was able to get out to a 20-point lead against New York in large part due to their offensive rebounding and second-chance points. Having Robinson on the floor would negate such opportunities.
