Four people are dead after a shooter opened fire at Anaconda’s Owl Bar at approximately 10:30 a.m. on Aug. 1, 2025, according to a press release from the Montana Department of Justice.

Police are searching for Michael Paul Brown, accused of killing four people in a Montana bar. Authorities warn he is armed and dangerous and remains at large.

Authorities said Michael Paul Brown used a rifle to kill the female bartender and three men who were patrons of the establishment.
