A Powerball player in Georgia was one number shy of hitting the jackpot but still scored a big prize. The lucky player won $150,000 after matching four of five numbers and the Powerball in the May 7 drawing, the Georgia Lottery said. They would’ve won $50,000 but spent an extra $1 on the multiplier option, tripling their prize.

The Powerball winning numbers are in for the Wednesday, May 7 drawing with a jackpot that reached an estimated $66 million ($30.5 million cash value). The largest winning Powerball jackpot ticket sold in Michigan was worth $842.

The Powerball jackpot for Wednesday’s lottery drawing has climbed to $65 million with a cash option of $29.9 million. The winning numbers were: 14, 15, 30, 40 and 59. The Powerball drawn was 20, with a Power Play of 3X.
