FBI, Airport Authority probe leads to arrest in Spirit Airlines bomb hoax
The image of passengers being taken off a Spirit Airlines aircraft at Detroit Metropolitan Airport due to a bomb threat went viral on June 5, and the extensive investigation has resulted in an arrest. John Charles Robinson, 23, of Monroe, was arrested on a criminal complaint for calling Spirit Airlines and reporting a fake bomb threat.
