The Social Security Administration (SSA) saved over $1 billion in the first 100 days of President Trump's agenda, aimed at improving public services and reducing waste, fraud, and abuse.

If you're eligible to receive SSI benefits, you will get two payments in the month of May: one on May 1, the other on May 30. SSI payments go out on day one of any given month, but since June 1 falls on a weekend, that month's payment will come early, on May 30.

Social Security's May payment schedule is normal for most recipients. But Supplemental Security Income beneficiaries will get two checks this month.
