Wisconsin head coach Luke Fickell went for continuity in his hire of new general manager, Marcus Sedberry.

The Wisconsin football team has their new GM after Maximus Stienecker left the Badgers to become the Executive Director of Player Personnel for the USC Trojans a few weeks ago.

In that role, he worked closely with Badgers coach Luke Fickell and oversaw the program’s roster management. In his new role Sedberry will lead the Badgers roster management, player personnel and football operations.

Wisconsin football is hiring Marcus Sedberry as its new general manager. The news was first reported by ESPN's Pete Thamel on Monday afternoon, then later confirmed by both On3 and 247Sports. Sedberry moves into the position after working within the Wisconsin athletic department for three years as a deputy athletic director and its chief operating officer.
