Bayern Munich claimed a 2-1 win away at Celtic on Wednesday to take the advantage in the match-up in the Champions League last 16 play-offs. Michael Olise broke the deadlock for the Bundesliga team shortly before the break and Harry Kane added a second in the 49th minute.

Bayern Munich missed out on a top 8 spot in the UEFA Champions League group stages which would have meant a direct berth into the Round of 16. Now they are locked in a two legged playoff match against Celtic with the loser going home from the tournament.
