Etihad Airways has placed an order for 15 Airbus A330neos and will also increase its commitments for the A350-1000 and A350F. The Abu Dhabi-based carrier made the announcement on Day Two of the Dubai Airshow 2025 as part of an agreement with leasing firm Avolon.
Etihad Airways (EY, Abu Dhabi International) has signed a firm order for six A330-900N s directly from Airbus and committed to lease an additional nine units of the type from Avolon. The carrier has also increased its orderbook for the A350 family aircraft.
Etihad Airways on Tuesday laid out a series of deals that will add 32 wide-body jets to its growing fleet, lifting targets for fleet size and passenger numbers by 2030.
