IMPD has confirmed that a man is dead and two others are injured following a triple shooting on the far east side of Indianapolis early Sunday morning.

On May 12, 2023, IMPD officers were called to a home in the 1300 block of North Kealing Avenue, near East 16th Street and North Sherman Drive, on a report of a child shot. When officers arrived, they found 5-year-old Hakiem Scott suffering from a gunshot wound.
