While a number of roster holes are being filled in free agency, Miami could be leaving itself exposed on the defensive line.

Da'Shawn Hand is headed West. Per Mike Garafolo of NFL Media, Hand has agreed to a one-year deal with the Chargers. Garafolo notes the contract is worth up to $3.35 million. Hand, 29, spent the last two seasons with the Dolphins.

Wide receiver Mike Williams, who was cut by the Chargers just last year in a move to get under the salary cap, is returning to the team on a one-year deal.

National NFL reporter Cameron Wolfe described the Dolphins’ moves as “value signings” on the defensive side of the ball. He noted the limited work they could do in free agency but emphasized their great potential in the 2025 NFL Draft. Here's what Wolfe had to say:
