BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (AP) Teagan Moore's 20 points helped Western Kentucky defeat Tennessee State 95-82 on Sunday. Moore added five rebounds for the Hilltoppers (3-0). Grant Newell scored 12 points and added seven rebounds. Bryant Selebangue also scored 12 points.

Tennessee was never in danger of losing on Saturday night in Neyland Stadium, but the performance wasn’t exactly what the doctor ordered either. The Volunteers jumped out to a 21-0 lead on New Mexico State to open the second quarter, but that’s pretty much where the fun ended.
