It’s been nearly 30 years since the Cowboys last hoisted the Lombardi Trophy. And no one — including that team’s quarterback — is happy about the title drought.

When the Cowboys won their last Super Bowl in 1995, even Troy Aikman thought it was just beginning. 30 years later, it was a hard end.

“It’s just hard to believe,” Aikman said Tuesday at a news conference promoting the Children’s Cancer Fund’s fashion show, where 20 pediatric patients walked the stage. “I remember in ‘95 when we won our last Super Bowl that I didn’t think we were done then. I thought we had more in us and I thought we would be back. Obviously, we weren’t.”
