Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu accused Hamas of backing out of a cease-fire deal to release hostages and end the war in Gaza, which has raged for more than a year.

The security cabinet of the Israeli government accepted the ceasefire deal with Hamas, paving the way for a truce and release of hostages as early as Sunday. Until then, Israel is continuing to bomb Hamas and its weapons.
