A New Jersey teacher is accused of sexually assaulting a young student and having a child him when he was just 13 and living in her home, according to court documents.

Caron gave birth in 2019 to a baby who was conceived as a result of that abuse, which occurred when the boy, now 20, was as young as 13.

A 34-year-old Cape May County, NJ elementary school teacher was arrested and charged with having a sexual relationship with a student living in her home, with whom she shares a child with, according to police paperwork obtained by Daily

Police say the case was brought to light when the victim's father made a social media post saying Caron's 5-year-old child looked very similar to him and his son.

Laura Caron was 28 years old when she was impregnated by a 13-year-old former student, and the whole situation unraveled when the child's father started asking questions on Facebook, according to a criminal affidavit.
