The Golden State Warriors are headed to the second round of the playoffs after defeating the Houston Rockets 103-89 in Game 7 to advance. The Warriors nearly blew a 3-1 series lead, but their performance in the winner-takes-all final game is all that will be remembered as they prepare to face the Minnesota Timberwolves next.

And one of the signs that things would be different in Game 7 was the way Green opened that game—knocking down shots, playing strong defense on the interior and keeping his emotions in check. Green finished with 16 points on 7-for-15 shooting, with six rebounds and five assists, as the Warriors knocked off Houston, 103-89.
