Frequent collaborators — actor Bill Murray and filmmaker Wes Anderson — visit the Elvis Suite at Cannes to chat about their new movie, “The Phoenician Scheme.”

At the Cannes Film Festival, Anderson explained his black comedy started out about “the darkness of a certain type of capitalist” who doesn’t care about the world around him.

As Comscore Senior Media Analyst Paul Dergarabedian explained, Anderson’s films appeal to that core audience but also expand very well and “tend to earn a staggering multiple of that opening limited release revenue,” mainly because of the sheer number of screens they add in Week 2.
