The NBA has revealed the All-Defensive teams for the 2024-25 season. Among the players on the first team is Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green.

While he's now spending time in the broadcast booth with the NBA on TNT crew, the NBA made an announcement regarding Green on Thursday. The league announced the All-Defensive first and second teams. Given his close finish for the Defensive Player of the Year award, Green was essentially a lock to make the first team.

Even though the Warriors fell short of their NBA championship aspirations this season, Draymond Green reached one of his biggest goals. Green was among he five players selected to the 2024-25 Kia NBA All-Defensive First Team,

Dyson Daniels, Lu Dort, Draymond Green, Evan Mobley and Amen Thompson lead the All-Defensive First Team picks.

Throughout the season, Draymond Green averaged 9.0 points, 6.1 rebounds and 5.6 assists per game. On the defensive end, the Golden State Warriors star posted 1.0 block and 1.5 steals per game, serving as the team's most valuable defender.

In recent years, the Golden State Warriors have attempted to straddle two developmental timelines. The front office has consistently found ways to add high-potential talent to the rotation. Yet, due to Golden State's continued desire to contend for championships, the development of those young talents has been a secondary concern.
