Another decent day is on the way tomorrow with just a few more clouds expected. Unfortunately, rain chances return this weekend. There is only a small chance for showers late Saturday, followed by a much better chance for rain with thunderstorms midday Sunday and into Sunday afternoon.
A red advisory for unhealthy air will continue for southern and eastern Wisconsin until noon Thursday, the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources said.
Lingering wildfire smoke will become thicker in Wisconsin overnight, making it difficult to get a view of possible northern lights.

Canada is having another bad wildfire season, and more than 27,000 people in three provinces have been forced to evacuate. Most of the smoke reaching the American Midwest has been coming from fires northwest of the provincial capital of Winnipeg in Manitoba.
Wildfire smoke and haze will slowly clear throughout the afternoon over Wisconsin as temperatures return to the middle 70s for the day.
The smoke has the state under an advisory until noon Wednesday for the unhealthy Air Quality Index red category, with periods of very unhealthy AQI purple category possible.
Residents living across a huge area spanning three states have been warned of dangerous air pollution levels on Tuesday. Swathes of Minnesota, Iowa and Wisconsin are all affected by poor air quality, with an area around Minneapolis covered by one of the most severe warnings.
