Chinese President Xi Jinping has arrive in Cambodia for a two-day state visit that serves as an opportunity to further strengthen already robust relations.

China’s President Xi Jinping has arrived in Cambodia on the last leg of his three-country tour of Southeast Asia, which has seen him double down on earlier calls to oppose hegemonism and resist protectionism in the face of rising trade frictions with the US.

Cambodia is a key political ally and trading partner for China in Asia. Xi is expected to meet Cambodian Prime Minster Hun Manet as the two countries celebrate 67 years of diplomatic ties.
