Former Alabama star quarterback named head coach of UFL team
Per an announcement by the team Thursday morning, former Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback AJ McCarron has been named the new head coach of the UFL's Birmingham Stallions. The first head coaching position in his career, McCarron replaces former Stallions coach Skip Holtz, who previously held the role since 2022.

HOOVER, Ala. (WTVA) — A former Alabama TV reporter was found dead in an apparent murder-suicide outside of Birmingham.
