Duo, the green owl mascot of the popular language-learning program, Duolingo, has died a violent death, the language-learning app announced Wednesday.

Duolingo's mascot, Duo the Owl, was killed by a Cybertruck but has now been resurrected in a viral marketing stunt.

On February 11, the pesky owl's death was announced on X and the statement read, "Authorities are currently investigating his cause of death and we are cooperating fully. Tbh, he probably died waiting for you to do your lesson, but what do we know."
