If you can't set Chrome as the default browser in Windows 11, then you can update Chrome browser, reset default apps, and then try this.

Back in July, Microsoft’s own Edge browser, which is based on the same engine as Google Chrome, got a flag to enable these same Windows 11 design elements. It has since become the default look.

That makes five separate Windows 11 Home machines we were unable to install Chrome on. Importantly, none of these machines were using Windows 11 in S mode, which can limit Windows' functionality.
