The family is raising questions about why the arrest happened in that manner to a man they said has no criminal history.

In an emotional interview from ICE detention, a Canadian entrepreneur said she is trying to stay strong as she waits to find out when she might get released.

"There are a percentage of people who deserve, at this point, to be legalized," said Scott Mechkowski, a retired ICE agent.
