The Dallas Mavericks will be looking for point guard upgrades this offseason, and they will search far and wide to find him. The Mavs could end up finding their guy in a player already in the Lone Star State looking for one last chance to contend.

Cooper Flagg recently recorded an impressive vertical leap at the NBA combine after the Mavericks secured the number one pick.

The team is only in a position to draft that prospect because it was bad. It takes a few years to get good. Keeping a good team together is expensive and not really possible indefinitely in the current CBA environment.
