The Cleveland Browns announced that former Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders will no longer wear his "Legendary" No. 2 jersey but will instead wear No. 12. Sanders, who fell to the Browns in the fifth round of the 2025 NFL draft, will don the same number as his idol and mentor, Tom Brady.

The fifth round pick of Cleveland will don a new number that’s different from the brand he built while in college.

While his fall to the fifth round will be remembered for many years to come, the Browns hope they got the steal of the century. Deion Sanders' son was projected as a top-ten pick, but ended up going 144th overall.
