A New York medical examiner has determined that Food Network star Anne Burrell died via suicide more than a month after the celebrity chef was found “unconscious and unresponsive” in her Brooklyn home.

Five weeks after the sudden and heartbreaking passing of chef and television personality Anne Burrell, the New York City Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has ruled her death a suicide caused by acute intoxication.
