The event will bring together two of Jefferson Parish’s most cherished traditions for a unique spectacle along Metairie Road.
Argus, St. Patrick will combine for Jefferson Parish’s biggest parade day on March 16
But the parish announced Wednesday that its premier Carnival parade, the Krewe of Argus, will get to roll on a new date and route. On March 16, Argus will roll down Metairie Road, just before the annual St. Patrick’s Day parade.

The Krewe of Argus, originally scheduled to roll in Jefferson Parish on Mardi Gras Day, Tuesday, March 4, is now scheduled to roll on Sunday, March 16 with the St. Patrick Parade of Jefferson on Metairie Road.
