Safeway workers are striking at the same time as contract negotiations between workers and King Soopers are coming to a head.

On Sunday, some Safeway employees formed picket lines to fight what they say are unfair labor practices. Strikes happened at stores in Fountain, Pueblo, Estes Park and a distribution center in Denver.

What was once a movie theater and fitness workout facility at Thornton Town Center will soon hold go-karts, laser tag and a roller coaster.
