Sens. John Cornyn (R-Texas) and Eric Schmitt (R-Mo.) on Wednesday accused former Biden Cabinet officials, Democratic members of Congress and the media of participating in a massive “cover-up” to hide what they claim was former President Biden’s obvious and alarming cognitive decline during his final two years in office.

WASHINGTON -- Nearly six months after Joe Biden left the White House, Senate Republicans are still scrutinizing his presidency, kicking off the first in what's expected to be a series of congressional hearings this year on his mental fitness in office.

The Senate held a hearing Wednesday to assess the fitness of former President Joe Biden when he was in office.
