The Golden State Warriors suffered defeat in their first game following Jimmy Butler ’s season-ending injury. Butler was helped to the locker room on Monday against the Miami Heat and was unable to return. The team announced on Tuesday that the six-time All-Star tore the ACL in his right knee and has been ruled out for the rest of the season.

The Raptors entered the game with the NBA's worst three-point percentage, but they went 21-of-34 from three Thursday. Buddy Hield had a team-high 25 points. Stephen Curry struggled en route to 16 points.
