The Miami Heat's relationship with star Jimmy Butler grew sour before he was traded to the Golden State Warriors. Bleacher Report named their break-up as one of the messiest in the NBA since 2010.

Jimmy Butler is a perfect example of just how extreme these dissolutions can become. Not only is he fresh off a contentious exit from the Miami Heat, but his Golden State Warriors are duking it out in the Western Conference semifinals against the Minnesota Timberwolves, the team he openly forced his way off back in 2018.

With Curry out for a second straight game, Butler did everything he could to keep his team afloat. However, the former Miami Heat star's efforts fell short as the Timberwolves gained the lead with just under seven minutes to play, never looking back.
