In a game that signaled a more limited role for Milwaukee Brewers' rookie starter and former Crowder College pitcher Jacob Misiorowski, the young phenom was pulled in the fourth inning Tuesday night in a 0-1 loss to the Seattle Mariners at Seattle.
He announced his arrival in the Major Leagues with a 100.5 mph fastball to begin five-plus hitless innings. Then he backed it up by taking a perfect game into the seventh inning in Minnesota and outdueling Pirates ace Paul Skenes back home in Milwaukee.

MLB announced Friday that Milwaukee's hard-throwing Jacob Misiorowski is an All-Star, and a number of Phillies are upset.
Jacob Misiorowski isn't upset with anyone who criticized his inclusion in the 2025 Major League Baseball All-Star Game despite making just five starts.
