TAIPEI: US export controls on artificial intelligence chips to China were “a failure” as they have cost American companies billions of dollars in lost sales, Nvidia Chief Executive Jensen Huang said on Wednesday.

Nvidia came out swinging at Computex Taipei 2025 on Monday, unveiling a futuristic lineup of humanoid robotics tools and customizable AI server infrastructure aimed at accelerating the global AI boom.

New software called DGX Cloud Lepton will be run by Nvidia to connect developers to available collections of GPUs running at Nvidia partners' cloud computing facilities. The Lepton system acts as a marketplace where developers of artificial intelligence can look up providers such as SoftBank, CoreWeave, and Nscale that have available GPU capacity.
