A LocalCircles survey conducted after the attack found that out of Indian domestic tourists who were planning to visit the once ‘Heaven on Earth’ this year, as many as 62 per cent have decided not to go, saying they were now “cancelling plans/bookings.”

Earlier on 22 April, when tourists were enjoying their time in the scenic Baisaran Valley of Pahalgam, some terrorists opened fire and killed 26 people, including both locals and visitors.

A terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, resulted in the death of at least 26 tourists. Eyewitnesses reported that the terrorists specifically targeted the tourists. The phrase “All eyes on Pahalgam” is trending on social media.
