Dallas police responded Monday afternoon to a shooting at Wilmer-Hutchins High School, where safety protocols were in place and families were urged to stay away from the school campus as students were being evacuated.

Dallas ISD officials confirmed on X that there was a “shooting incident” at the school, and said reunification plans would be shared shortly.
