Plenty of people have put their public support behind Sanders (none more than Mel Kiper Jr. on ESPN's Draft broadcast), and he got a surprisingly motivational pep talk from another Sanders on social media over the weekend, as KFC's Colonel Sanders had some words of wisdom for him.

Auburn legend Cam Newton spoke on the matter, saying that Sanders was 'humbled' after what went down over the weekend. Newton touches on the fact that for the first time in Sanders' adult life, he will not be coached by his father Deion Sanders, and expects that mentality to follow him into his early NFL years.
