Observations after Sixers fall to Raptors in OT to begin mini-series
The Raptors created issues for the Sixers when they were backpedaling and failed to stop the ball. Led by Barnes, the Raptors constantly pushed the ball forward through both the pass and dribble. Toronto posted eight of the game’s first nine fast-break points.
Tyrese Maxey led the Sixers with 38 points. VJ Edgecombe had 17.

Sixers Bell Ringer: Team wastes huge late buckets from Maxey vs. Raptors
The Sixers overcame a brutal first half only to blow a four-point lead with under 20 seconds left in regulation and then squander another lead in overtime in a 116-115 loss to the Raptors. It was a nasty, physical game, and the Sixers didn’t handle it well outside of the third quarter — go figure.
PHILADELPHIA -- Ever since getting back on the floor on Nov. 17, Paul George has been available at a high rate for the Philadelphia 76ers. He has played in 19 of a possible 23 games thus far and has been able to give the Sixers some consistent production on both ends.
Well, it’s not the same season it was seven weeks ago, is it? On Nov. 26, the 76ers were in 10th place in the Eastern Conference standings with a 9-8 record. They also were a day removed from a 144-103 loss to the Orlando Magic at Xfinity Mobile Arena.
