Renée Slegers, the interim head coach of Arsenal since October 15, has finally been offered a contract and will become the ninth different permanent manager of the club.

Slegers, 35, stepped up from her role as assistant coach to take interim charge following Jonas Eidevall’s resignation on October 15 and has since overseen 10 wins and one draw in her 11 matches in all competitions.

Slegers left Arsenal without making an appearance and returned to the Netherlands to launch her professional career with Willem II before moving to clubs in Sweden.
