State media in Vietnam report that 37 people were killed after a boat carrying tourists capsized during a sudden thunderstorm. Five others are missing.

A tourist boat capsized during a sudden thunderstorm in Vietnam on Saturday afternoon during a sightseeing excursion, killing at least 34 people and prompting a search for others who remain missing, state media reported.

A thunderstorm weather warning has been issued for the south-east of England. The yellow weather warning, covering Kent, Sussex and Surrey, begins at 11:00 BST on Monday and will run until 21:00. The Met Office issued the warning, saying a few places "could see 30 to 50mm of rain within a couple of hours" in the afternoon and early evening.

A new weather warning for thunderstorms across northern Lincolnshire has been issued for Monday (July 21). The Met Office yellow warning covers the hours from 11am to 9pm on Monday, with forecasters saying: “Heavy showers and thunderstorms may lead to flooding and disruption in a few places.

The NWS Raleigh NC released a severe thunderstorm warning at 3:52 p.m. on Saturday in effect until 4:30 p.m. The warning is for Edgecombe, Nash and Wilson counties.

The warning was for Columbus County. "The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property. Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire.

There's a chance some of the thunderstorms could turn severe due to the daytime heating and moisture streaming in from the Gulf.
