A man was hit by a car and killed while trying to cross Highway 171 in Moses Lake. Washignton State Patrol says a 73-year-old man was attempting to cross the highway at South Schneirla Street just after 9 p.m. on Friday night, and was not on a crosswalk. A car traveling south on the highway hit the man and WSP says he died on the scene.
