La Guardia Costera de Estados Unidos suspendió el domingo por la noche la búsqueda de un hombre cuyo kayak roto fue encontrado en Mission Bay el viernes por la tarde, dijeron las autoridades.

Through investigation, rescuers said they learned the kayak belonged to a man, identified by family as Danny Marron of Yuma, Arizona, who left Mission Bay at about 11:45 a.m., KNSD reported. Marron’s wife, Eryka Arizaga, told KSWB he was a competition outrigger paddler.

The U.S. Coast Guard has suspended its search for a dad who disappeared off the coast of California while kayaking. The missing kayaker departed from Mission Bay in San Diego around 11:45 a.m. local time on Friday,
